bslogo

This Face-to-Face Social Networking Family Style Dinner Game focuses on creating and maintaining relationships between co-workers, departments and management. It’s the perfect team building concept, if you want your guests to interact in a meaningful, trusting and productive way, without it seeming like you are forcing them to do so.  We keep the action moving as everyone is allowed to move from table to table enjoying different foods, served Family Style, as they begin to learn more about each other!

This Team Builder Offers Your Team…

  • A face-to-face networking program…
  • An opportunity to build stronger co-worker relationships…
  • Co-worker to co-worker interaction…
  • An opportunity to step outside of their comfort zones…

This is a relaxed and easy team building concept that allows your employees, coworkers, clients or other guests to get to know one another, or to get to know more about one another, at your conference or meeting. Many times people like to play it safe and only mingle with those they feel most comfortable being around, this game offers them the opportunity to step out of that cozy box and meet new people without the normal pressures that might surround doing so.

How It Works

  • Each person receives a Schmooze Hanging Lanyard Card with a number on it when they arrive.
  • Each guest will be given a note card with approximately 3 to 12 numbers on it suggesting whom they need to seek out, question and converse with over the duration of the party that evening (Please Note:  Number of contacts made depends on the size of the group and how much time is allotted for the game).
  • There is a time limit per visit and guests will be told when it’s time to move to the next guest.
  • Guests also have a list of 6 different questions to ask each person they meet and vice versa.  The questions are generic, but, offer everyone insight into the human being that’s hiding behind the coworker or client.
  • In addition, the person, when asking the questions is also encouraged to offer their answers too, stimulating even more conversation.  With this laidback approach your coworkers, employees or clients will have a fun time just getting to know each other and enjoying a meal together.

Sample Questions: What’s your favorite hobby? What are you most proud of in your life? Where did you grow up? What’s your favorite sport? What food do you least enjoy? Where’s the furthest you have ever traveled?
