Clams Casino

Antonio “Clams” Carchoni invites you to his annual mobster convention in Lost Wages, Nevada, circa 1960. All the big mob bosses and their mistresses will be there to find out the latest crime family news. Following the untimely murder of Don Gobbo Gratiano, Clams, his son-in-law, has taken over Gobbo’s Gambling Gazebo, renamed it after himself and taken over as head of the family, much to the dismay of his wife Shelley Gratiano and many of the Gratiano Crime Family. After much pomp and circumstance Clam’s announces “it’s time to manja” and dinner is served. After dinner when Clams’ trusty side kick, Snake Eyes gets the audience to sing “For He’s a Jolly Good Fella”, Miss Cherry Stone enters screaming that she found Clams dead with his mistress, Miss Anty Up.

Out of nowhere emerges Florian Sappey a soft-spoken southern Private Dick who is there to help solve the murder. He orders the suspects to lock the doors and everyone is asked up to the Clams Casino gambling tables and try their luck at winning more “Funny Money” so they can purchase clues to solve the murder themselves. A prize is awarded to the person who comes closest to doing this and a booby prize is handed out to the person without a clue.

Clams Casino has played to sold-out crowds in many resorts, hotels and restaurants throughout Central Pennsylvania including the Pride of the Susquehanna Riverboat in Harrisburg, PA. “Clams” is also our most popular corporate, association and non-profit organization murder mystery. It has been performed hundreds of times for such groups as Rhone-Poulenc Rorer Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Associated Wholesalers Inc., Frito-Lay, The Lebanon Valley Chapter of American Business Women, The Akron Fire Company and the Harford Mall Merchants Association to name a few.

Clams Casino comes complete with six actors costumed in snazzy casino garb, lots of great Frank Sinatra tunes, all the casino tables, “funny money” and clues for your group, company or association to have a winning event. So take a roll of the dice, odds are in your favor that you and your guests will have a great evening of comedy, mystery and casino gaming.
